25-year-old Arjeeta C. Singhvi is the Founder & CEO at ekSlate — an online learning and ed-tech platform offering meticulous personalized learning experiences. Arjeeta hails from a humble family background in Jodhpur, Rajasthan; her father passed away when she was only 3 years old, and ever since, she has been brought up by her mother – who is a teacher by profession and a source of life-long inspiration for Arjeeta.
“While to many people it might have sounded like a crazy idea to quit my job during the pandemic to start-up, but for me, it was a long-cherished dream-come-true. I was fortunate to have my mother by my side who kept faith in me and supported me in this new and exciting journey. We moved back to Jodhpur and I, along with my team, officially kicked off EkSlate in July 2020,” says Arjeeta C. Singhvi, Founder & CEO, EkSlate.
Speaking of her association with Project Her&Now, Arjeeta C. Singhvi says, “I become a part of the Her&Now program at a time when my start-up was not officially launched and registered. However, in retrospect, I feel glad to be a Her&Now entrepreneur, as the program has helped us to refrain from committing common early-stage mistakes, helped in identifying the gaps and customers better, and told us what to do and what not to do in running the business.
Notably, Arjeeta’s venture ekSlate is currently expanding its community and onboarding and/or partnering with some of the best teachers and mentors in our country. The long-term vision of the start-up is to become a prominent and leading player in the mentorship and personalized teaching-learning space in India and the globe. And to that end, Arjeeta and her team are leaving no stone unturned!
