Procter & Gamble today announced that the company has contributed INR 5 Cr to the
state authorities towards vaccination of citizens in Rajasthan. In addition to this, the company also facilitated vaccination of its employees, their families and the co-located staff at its Bhiwadi manufacturing site. This donation is in line with P&G’s pledge to contribute towards 10 lakh vaccines doses in the country. Under its #PGSurakshaIndia program, P&G will also continue to extend its support to the broader community in Rajasthan through donation of products, in-house manufactured masks and sanitizers especially to aid frontline and essential workers who are tirelessly working to combat the spread of COVID-19. P&G will also donated oxygen concentrators to the local authorities in Bhiwadi.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, through its #PGSurakshaIndia program, P&G has stepped up to support the health, safety, and wellbeing of its employees, its consumers and the communities. In Rajasthan, P&G has distributed more than 1 Lakh sanitary pads to women and adolescent girls in containment areas and underprivileged communities in partnership with government, distributed over 33,000 health and hygiene kits to the elderly across the state and distributed grocery kits to migrant families in Bhiwadi. P&G also partnered with the government and industries to kickstart an initiative called ‘Suraksha Circles’ to lay down the highest standards of hygiene and safety at manufacturing facilities in Bhiwadi. Through its CSR program P&G Shiksha, the company has supported remote education of over 8,000 children in the state.
