Nissan India registers whole sales of 7265 vehicles in September 2022

Nissan Motor India announced cumulative wholesales of 7265units, with domestic wholesales of 3177 units and export wholesales of 4088 units, in the month of September 2022. The cumulative wholesale YTD growth stood at 18% as compared to the same period last year.

Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, commented, “We are happy to sustain our sales momentum in domestic and export markets. The festive season has contributed to an increase in demand for the Nissan Magnite across markets on the strength of its value proposition. We are hopeful the momentum will continue with improvement in supply and customer sentiments.”

Nissan India continues to drive customer centric efforts to cater to customers’ demands as per the highest standard aligned with the Global Nissan way. A more recent initiative in this area is the Quality Month campaign starting 26 th Sept till 11 th Nov. 2022 across India for all sales and after sales customer touchpoints. With an aim to improve customer satisfaction through implementation of Nissan global standard practices, the campaign will run on the theme of ‘Always think of the customer first’. The key pillars of the campaign will work around customer convenience with Express Service, Pick Drop service, Doorstep services and Service Clinic while providing value through genuine parts and accessories and lowest cost of maintenance at 31 paise per km. Customer Trustis driven through Peace of mind that comes with a warranty of 2 years (50,000kms) which can be extended for up to 5 years (100,000 kms) at a nominal cost.

Nissan customers may also book services and even check costs online through the Nissan Service Cost Calculator via Nissan Service Hub or Nissan Connect , bringing utmost transparency to the process supported by Nissan’s 24/7 Roadside Assistance available in over 1500 cities.

Launched in December 2020, the big, bold, beautiful Nissan Magnite (currently available at a starting ex-showroom price of INR 5.97 lakh), has been designed in Japan and made in India, underlining Nissan India’s manufacturing philosophy of “Make-In-India, Make for the World”. The Nissan Magnite has witnessed phenomenal response from customers, with more than 1,00,000 cumulative bookings to date. In July 2022, Nissan also launched the “Nissan Magnite, Red Edition” at an attractive entry price of INR 7.86 lakh.

The Nissan Magnite is exported to over 15 countries. The most recent launches have been in Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh. Nissan India commenced exports in September 2010 and currently exports vehicles from its Renault-Nissan Automotive India Ltd. plant in Chennai to 108 countries including New Zealand, Australia, Middle Eastern countries; and countries in Europe, Latin America, South-East Asia, SAARC; Sub Sahara, and Africa. In recent years, Nissan India has shifted its primary export market from Europe to Middle Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
