Flipkart strengthens collaboration with UP Government to onboard MSMEs, GI, and ODOP sellers at International Trade Show 2025

Flipkart, India’s homegrown e-commerce marketplace, has deepened its collaboration with the Government of Uttar Pradesh’s Department of MSME and the state’s flagship One District One Product (ODOP) initiative by participating in the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2025. The five-day event, being held from 25-29 September 2025, was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji bringing together local entrepreneurs, artisans, exporters, buyers, and industry stakeholders to showcase and promote the state’s rich and colourful range of products.

Rajneesh Kumar, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Flipkart Group, said, “Flipkart’s vision of empowering MSMEs, artisans, and entrepreneurs across Bharat is strongly aligned with the Government of India’s agenda of inclusive growth and digital empowerment. Our participation at UPITS 2025 underscores our partnership with the Government of Uttar Pradesh in empowering MSMEs, artisans, and ODOP entrepreneurs with digital tools, capacity building, and nationwide market access.”

Flipkart has been equipping, building capacity through training initiatives and enabling artisans, entrepreneurs with digital skills, assisting them to bring the unique products of Uttar Pradesh across districts such as Kannauj, Bhadohi, Barabanki, Bulandshahr, Firozabad, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Meerut, Sitapur, Unnao, Varanasi and Moradabad to a national audience through the Flipkart marketplace platform and under the Samarth program.
