Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd., India’s trusted building materials company, has announced the launch of the Nuvo Mason – a Masonry Skill Development Program in Lototi village as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative to benefit the unorganized masonry sector in Nimbol, Rajasthan.
NUVO Mason is a two-month training program designed to improve the masonry skills of workers, empower them and open new earning opportunities for them. The batch of 50 participants has been selected from the surrounding villages of the Company’s Nimbol Cement Plant that will undergo training. This program consists of approximately 300 hours of training (theoretical and practical application) on tile masonry (floors and walls). The program content is aligned with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF). Upon successful completion of the program, the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) will certify participants.
This initiative is implemented in collaboration with the Orion Education Society, Kolkata aiming to aid in skill development and help local youth secure employment in the construction industry. The center is expected to significantly improve the quality of life for participants by fostering wage parity, creating sustainable livelihoods, and providing better livelihood options through organized skill development training programs.
The Training Centre was inaugurated by Mr Pawan Royal and Mr Niraj Acharya, Plant Head, Nuvoco, along with the Sarpanch of Lototi village, in the presence of other key Nuvoco officials, mason trainees, and local villagers.

This program not only advances technical skills but also equips masons with the capabilities required for today’s advanced construction landscape.”
NUVO Mason is a flagship skill development program launched by Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd. in FY2022-23 and spans across the states of Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Haryana and Jharkhand. More than 1000 youth, including women, have benefited from the program, increasing their incomes, and making their way into mainstream society.
