Nuvoco Vistas Corp Ltd, India’s fifth-largest cement group by capacity, celebrated International Women’s Day at the Aakriti Centre, Mangrol, honouring the strength and achievements of women.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Mrs. Satya Suryam, President of Nakshatra Ladies Club (a welfare group comprising employees’ spouses from Chittorgarh Colony), along with other esteemed members of the club. Dignitaries from the Police Department, Electricity Department, Women and Child Welfare Development, and local entrepreneurs further enriched the occasion with their presence.
A key highlight of the event was the recognition of women entrepreneurs from neighbouring villages of the Chittor Cement Plant who have successfully built and sustained their businesses. Their inspiring journeys stand as a testament to self-reliance, perseverance, and determination.
The event featured interactive sessions and motivational talks, encouraging confidence and self-sufficiency among participants. Additionally, Aakriti Self-Help Group (SHG) members were felicitated for their dedication and growing skills, which are helping them achieve financial independence.
Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Satya Suryam encouraged women to explore new opportunities, develop their skills, and contribute to their communities.
