Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd., a trusted leader in India’s pumps industry, has achieved another milestone in its green energy journey onsecuring approval from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL) under the “Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump” Yojana / PM-KUSUM B scheme. The contract covers the design, manufacture, supply, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of 1,884 Off-grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS), amounting to a totalorder size of Rs. 49 Crs.

The project will provide farmers with sustainable irrigation solutions that are reliable, efficient, and easy to maintain. Crompton’s end-to-endscope includes a five-year warranty, repair and maintenance services, and advanced Remote Monitoring Systems (RMS) for each installation, ensuring dependable performance in rural and off-grid regions. Delivery will be backed by trained personnel, district-level service centers, and a bilingual helpline for responsive support throughout the contract period.
