Sunil Singhania’s Abakkus Fund and Madhu Kela’s Singularity Growth Fund has invested in Jaro Institute

Jaro Institute of Technology Management and Research Ltd., one of the leading players in online higher education has successfully raised ₹ 115 crore in its pre-IPO funding round from marquee investors.

Leading investors like Sunil Singhania’s Abakkus Diversified Alfa Fund, Madhu Kela’s Singularity Growth Opportunities Fund and Singularity Equity Fund, Subhkam Ventures, and the family office of Polycab have invested in this round.

Other investors Utpal Sheth of Rare Enterprises, Family office of Supreme Industries and Deven Choksey have also invested in the company ahead of its IPO.

The company is raising ₹ 450 crore through its upcoming IPO. The IPO is expected to open during this month. For the year ended March 31, 2025, Jaro Education had reported net revenues of ₹ 254.02 crore and a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹ 51.67 crore. The company has also declared a dividend of 10% on a face value of ₹10 per share.

Jaro Education has established strong institutional partnerships and currently works with 7 IITs, 7 IIMs, and over 22 leading universities like Symbiosis, Amity, Manipal, Loyola College, Welingkar Institute of Management, and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). Major clients from IIMs and IITs include IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Mumbai, IIM Indore, IIM Tiruchirappalli, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Mumbai and IIT Kanpur.
