New Zealand-India Education Week from Oct 5 to 9

New Zealand-India Education Week Virtual Engagement Contest will be held between the 5th and 9th of October, between 10.30 am and 11.30 am, together with universities and managers from New Zealand.

The online series brings together researchers, experts and academics from throughout New Zealand as well as Indian education and the business landscape. David Pine, High Commissioner for India and Bangladesh for New Zealand and Ambassador-Designate for Nepal will inaugurate the conference on 5 October, along with John Laxon, Regional Director for Asia, Economic Affairs New Zealand.

The academic conclave will have panel discussions with industry leaders, master classes at New Zealand universities, a student’s daily quiz and an indigenous culture showcase.

Speaking of the event, Education New Zealand ‘s Education director, John Laxon, Regional Director Asia, said: “We are pleased to launch this opening New Zealand-India Education Week, using technology. This online event offers a chance to learn from Indian students in New Zealand, discuss the effect of Covid-19 on education’s future and engage leading academics in New Zealand.”

The organizers added in their official press release: “The number of Indian students in recent years and the number of Indian students who are studying at QS World University in the 2020 rankings reflected all of our universities worldwide, which have internationally recognized and transferable qualifications and skills.”
