On the eve of International Women’s Day, Diya Kumari urged women to be self-confident, pursue their passions relentlessly, raise their voices for crimes against women and overcome challenges to achieve success. She gave away awards to women achievers at two events – ‘Breaking Boundaries’ organized by Dainik Navjyoti Group and FORTI (Women Wing) at Hotel Fern and ‘Women Veneration Awards 2021’ at Hotel Jaipur Marriott.
Mamta Bhupesh and RPS Sunita Meena graced the ‘Breaking Boundaries’ event organized by Dainik Navjyoti Group.
They facilitated the awardees and empowered them to pursue their passion. The Director of this program was Deeksha Gupta and the Brand Ambassador of the program was Surabhi Gupta.
Mamta Bhupesh said that empowered women must lend a helping hand to their sisters and mentor them. There are a lot of schemes for women and we must ensure that the benefit reaches the needy.
On the occasion, Diya Kumari said that domestic violence is a big disease in our country which is often overlooked. Through the women’s helpline, many women can benefit. Social media too has become a major platform, for crimes against women. Strict laws need to be made to protect women on virtual platforms as well.
