Sony Entertainment Television is all set to launch a new show – Ishk Par Zor Nahi. This latest offering from Sony brings to life a new-age young love story which highlights conflicting ideologies of Ahaan Malhotra and Ishqi on love and marriage.
Ishk Par Zor Nahi starting from 15th March, Mon-Fri, 9:30 PM only on Sony Entertainment Television.
Popular TV actor Rajat Verma has been roped in to play the role of ‘Kartik Malhotra’, Ahaan’s cousin in the show. Kartik Malhotra is the typical boy-next-door. Known to be pretty open and expressive about his views, he grew up questioning and challenging the conventional norms of the society. A romantic at heart, he wants to fall in love and share a relationship of equals with his soulmate.
Throwing light on his character, actor Rajat Verma said, “My character ‘Kartik’ is a very likable guy. He’s charming, confident, ambitious, and holds his family in the highest regard. In many aspects, I’d say, Kartik and I are quite similar. We both share the same train of thought when it comes to love and marriage and is firm believers in equality. That being said, Kartik has his own quirks that the viewers will see unfold gradually. As for me, I am really enjoying my part and I hope the viewers resonate with my character.”
