Established with a vision to bring about innovation in higher education and learning in emerging areas of the knowledge society, the not-for-profit NIIT University (NU), has invited applications for the academic year 2021. Admission are also open for the 4 new programmes introduced at NU – B.Tech in Communication and Computer Engineering, B.Tech in Data Science, B.Tech in Cyber Security, and Bachelors in Business Administration. These programmes have been uniquely designed to help students craft successful careers especially in the post pandemic era.
Prof. Parimal Mandke, Acting President, NIIT University said, “The pandemic has proved to be a black-swan event that has drastically changed the future of education. While these are difficult times, it also provides us with an opportunity to re-evaluate our education models. Technology has been one of the pillars of NU and we quickly shifted to a digital model to ensure academic continuity as the pandemic hit us. We have been enabling admissions through the AIP since our inception and this year we will go the extra mile to address any concerns that students of their parents may have.”
NU is enabling the unique online Admission Interaction Process (AIP) to evaluate the students who seek admission to the university. Owing to the pandemic, physical admission processes have changed drastically, and hence, the AIP aims to efficiently evaluate students by making the online admission process as seamless as possible. The AIP also resonates with the recent decision of CBSE of taking class 10 th score into account while evaluating the 12 th standard students.
The AIP is a two-way interaction process that examines the overall personality of the student rather than only their academic records. AIP consists of three parts: A questionnaire, a test based on class 12 subjects and Personal Counselling Interaction. Students can get admission basis their 10th class score and personal interaction from the comfort of their home. In order to fill the NIIT University application form and apply for the exam, candidates will have to first register themselves on the NU website.
