NIIT University (NU) conducts Ententè 2021- An International Conference in Humanities, Social Sciences, Management & Education

Established with a vision to bring about innovation in higher education and learning in emerging areas of the knowledge society, the not-for-profit NIIT University (NU) presented a 3-day long (28 th -30 th October)International Conference in Humanities, Social Sciences, Management & Education. The eminent speakers in the conference included Mr. Nitin D Parekh,Chief Financial Officer,Cadila Healthcare Limited; Prof.
Vijay Mandke, Mentor Professor, NIIT University; andProf. Marmar Mukhopadhyay, Founding Professor, NIIT University.

The objective of the conference was to showcase inter-disciplinary research, facilitate
discussion and encourage academicians, students, industry experts, practitioners, professionals, researchers, policy makers, etc. to share ideas and solutionsto bridge the gap between academic wisdom and industry practices.

Speaking on the conference,Prof. Rajesh Khanna, President, NIIT University said, “It was great to see our esteemed panel members in conversations with eminent educators as well as our students. Ententè was a deliberate effort to bring professionals from all sectors at the same table, and I am glad our objective was met. COVID-19 taught us how important technology is becoming.Our institution is built upon that very tenet of technology to giveour students an edge over others.”

Digitalization and advancements in information technology have significantly proliferated GLOCAL information mobilization. Due to the massive mobility across humanity, the era of multi-dimensionality has come into existence; the word globalization is not just limited to economy or financial systems.

The main aim of organizing this conference was to facilitate deliberation on changing paradigms in the field of Language & Literature, Social Sciences, Management and Education. The wide spectrum of sub-themes facilitated integrating the complex array of ethical, psychological, social, economic, cultural, linguistic, literary, political and administrative concerns in research and pedagogy. It attempted to provide an international platform for academicians, researchers, industry personnel and students to share their research studies and innovative ideas in their respective domains and was meant to promote research studies in the areas of Humanities, Commerce, Economics, Management and Education.
