Leading educational institute JK Lakshmipat University today celebrated 9th Convocation Day and Founder’s Day celebrations and congratulated the final year
students, who were conferred with the graduation and post-graduation degrees on the successful completion of BBA, B.Tech, MBA, M.Tech and PhD programmes. Shri Rajender Singh Yadav, Minister of Higher Education, Rajasthan was the chief guest of the event.
The event also marked the 111th Birth Anniversary of its founder, Lala Lakshmipat Singhania on November 23, 2021. Shri Bharat Hari Ji Singhania, Chancellor of the University and President, JK Organisation graced the occasion with his presence along with the other dignitaries including Vice Chancellor of Prof (Dr) Dheeraj Sanghi, Pro Chancellor Dr. RP Singhania, the Pro VC Mr. Asheesh Gupta, Members of the Board of Management, Academic Council and Directors, along with the faculty members, staff, graduating students and their parents attended the program.
“I am very fortunate that today is my first event as a minister of higher education of the state. I have always been very closely associated with Singhania family. I had also visited JKLU campus once when it was getting constructed. Educational institutions like JKLU have been bridging the gap in their higher education in the state. Rajasthan has now become the education hub. Today’s youth plays a very important role in nation building and development,” said Shri Rajender Singh Yadav, who also promised to repair the road leading to JKLU for uninterrupted education process.
“On the occasion of 9th convocation and Founder’s Day, I also extend my warm greetings to our valued guests, well-wishers, parents and particularly our students. Founder’s Day is one of the most significant days in the calendar of any institution. We at JKLU, celebrate this day as a tribute to my father, Lala Lakshmipat Ji Singhania. He strongly believed in humanitarian values in the society and incorporated them in the vision of all the enterprises that he set up under JK Organisation. Quality education has been the right of every citizen of our country, so we have established 50 schools in India, an institution which will provide high quality teaching. We are focused on all round development of our students,” said Shri Bharat Hari Ji Singhania, Chancellor, JK Lakshmipat University.
Dr Dheeraj Sanghi, Vice Chancellor, JK Lakshmipat University highlighted the achievements of the university.
“It’s a great honour for us that our university has completed 10 successful years. In these years, our focus has always been on providing quality education. We have also set up a centre of communication and critical thinking, sharing and caring helpline during COVID and courses on sustainability. Our placement has also improved over the years,” he said.
