Environment and Mineral Conservation Week flagged off

Flag of Ceremony for 32nd Mines Environment and Mineral Conservation Week is organized at Ajmer under the under the aegis of the Indian Bureau of Mines, Ajmer Region.

In the beginning of the program, the convener Mr. Kashi Kant Singh welcomed the delegates from the major mineral mines of Rajasthan. Presiding over the program, Regional Controller of Mines, Indian Bureau of Mines, Shri GK Jangid mentioned the special aspects to be taken care of during the assessment of various mines by the inspection teams and directed them to fill the mark sheet carefully at the time of inspection.

Six teams formed to inspect the mines of 54 major minerals in Rajasthan. The MP Birla Group’s Birla Cement Limestone Mines are hosting the event. The Organizing Committee’s Patron Shri GK Jangid, Convenor Shri Kashi Kant Singh and Shri Dilip Jain and Secretary Shri Narendra Menaria flagged off the inspection teams.

The inspection team after inspecting and assessing 54 major mineral mines of Rajasthan will present the mark sheets to the coordinator of the committee, Shri Data Ram Gurjar on July 2, after which the winners will be announced in the closing ceremony to be organized at Udaipur in the coming month. Will go Representatives of major mining units like Hindustan Zinc Ltd., Hindustan Copper Ltd., RSMM Ltd., Ultratech Cement, JK Cement, Ambuja Cement, Nuvoco Cement, Shree Cement, and Wonder Cement etc. were present in the program.

Shri GR Bishnoi, Digendra Singh Solanki and Kalu Ji Luhar had a special contribution in the conduct of the programme.
