Daikin India announced the partnership with Saarathee to unlock opportunities for professionals with disabilities (PwDs). This initiative, aims to provide an equal opportunity platform, bringing together persons with disabilities to engage with Daikin across various outsourcing facilities in order to achieve the common goal of economic empowerment.
Confronting several barriers to equal opportunities at work, professionals with disabilities experience higher rates of unemployment and socio-economic inequalities. To address these challenges, PwDs need to have same access as everyone else to education and job opportunities. At Daikin we are geared to play an important role in unlocking this access through mentoring and skills development, and by connecting people with disabilities to available employment opportunities and support sustainable
livelihood.
Mr. K J Jawa, Chairman & Managing Director, Daikin India, said that we at Daikin India continue to keep inclusivity with professionals with disabilities at every step and the company has been recognising and cultivating their skills in the field of Data Entry and Data Management across our outsourcing facilities. All of us now need to act with bolder ambition to empower this large untapped talent pool to achieve more. To create a culture of accessibility that will have a ripple effect throughout the
industry and across the business community, the collaboration between Saarathee and Daikin India for the past one year will encourage other corporates, partners and suppliers to engage with professionals with disabilities and lead the social change.
