RACs and SHAs manufacturer EPACK Durable Pvt Ltd.(EDPL) is planning to invest close to ₹100crore by setting up a 0.6 Million units plant through brownfield expansion at its existing manufacturing site in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. The company has a production capacity of 1.2 Million units per annum and has been running at around 75-80 per cent of its capacity utilisation. With the proposed expansion, the company will have a total installed capacity of 1.8 Million units.
The company, which is one of India’s largest technology focused company with innovative solutions in OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) & ODM (Original Design Manufacturer)
manufactures complete range of room air conditioners (RACs) including Window ACs and
Split ACs with the latest technology including fixed speed and inverters. It also manufactures SHAs including induction cooktops, mixer grinders, and water dispensers.
EPACK Durable’s Bhiwadi facility which started its operations this year in March, will have
one new building and a total of 3.5 Lakh Sq. feet with its brownfield expansion. The company’s expanded manufacturing operations will increase the installed production capacity up to 2.4 Million units annually by the end of 2023.
The expansion will further broaden the site’s highly potent material handling capabilities and support the growing demand for its products. The expansion and investment in new plant equipment is part of the company’s effort to improve efficiency and increase production capacity.

EPACK Durable is hiring talent for next-level innovation in RACs – SHAs, manufacturing. The Bhiwadi manufacturing facility employ over 1000 people currently and with this expansion it will further employ over 500 people across various functional areas benefitting the local community.
This apart, the company is also in the process of setting up a greenfield manufacturing facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh at an estimated investment of around ₹200 crore which is expected to be commissioned next year.
The company, which currently has integrated manufacturing facilities in Dehradun, Uttarakhand and Bhiwadi, Rajasthan and a turnover of around ₹1000 crore at present, is expecting its revenues to increase to ₹2000crore by FY24, backed by its proposed expansion plans.
