Jindal Stainless protects the local market from fraudulent stainless steel products

Jindal Stainless has lodged an FIR against the owner of Narhera (Haryana)-based Aarti Steel Industries for infringement of the Jindal Stainless trademarks. The FIR has been registered under IPC Section 420, Section 103 and Section 104of the Trade Marks Act. The local police raided the premises of Aarti Steel’s Jaipur branch. They found goods with logos of fake JSL/Jindal trademarks on the spot. Aarti Steel had been producing and selling pipes
of various sizes in the market.

During the raid, police discovered pipe-making machines and fresh pipes with fake JSL trademarks being manufactured. The police recovered 16 dye plates with the name Jindal written on them. ASI JSL; JINDAL STAINLESS was written on another dye plate. 14 dye plates with ASI JINDAL STAINLESS STEEL written on them werealso recovered.

Senior Official from Jindal Stainless said, “We have zero tolerance against JSL trademark infringement. Those who are engaged in such practices jeopardize our quality standards and compromise on customer satisfaction, which is of utmost importance to us as safety through stainless steel solutions is our priority. Aarti Steel was unlawfully manufacturing and selling substandard stainless steel construction products under the JSL / Jindal trademark. We urge our customers to be wary of such deceptive practices.”


Jindal Stainless has time and again taken legal action against those found selling counterfeit products in order to ensure that its customers receive the highest quality products. The Company considers such violations to be serious crimes and intends to pursue legal action to address them.
