One hundred and thirty-three compassionate students from Jayshree Periwal International School (JPIS) in Jaipur, have achieved an extraordinary feat by raising a massive amount of INR 42.1L in just three weeks. This remarkable initiative was carried out through the crowdfunding platform called Fueladream.
The funds raised by the JPIS students will be donated to The Akshaya Patra Foundation, a leading non-profit organization that has been providing mid-day meals to millions of children in India for over two decades. Through their association with The Akshaya Patra Foundation, the students are ensuring that 2,806 government school students in Rajasthan receive nutritious meals every day, enabling them to focus on their studies and overall development. Each student had a goal of INR 27000. The TOP 4 students raised amounts ranging from INR 1.02 to 2.34 Lakhs in 3 weeks.
Recognizing the importance of eradicating hunger and promoting education, these compassionate students took it upon themselves to make a tangible difference in the lives of their less privileged counterparts.
The crowdfunding campaign on Fueladream witnessed an overwhelming response from various individuals, organizations, and philanthropists who wholeheartedly supported the cause. Their generous contributions, combined with the passion and determination of the JPIS students, made this fundraising effort an astounding success.
Commenting on the achievement, Mr Ayush Periwal the Academic Director at the Jayshree Periwal International School (JPIS), expressed his pride in the students and their selfless dedication to helping others.
