Department of Information Technology and Communication (DoIT&C), iStart (Program of DoIT&C), in collaboration with three EdTech startups from Rajasthan Studybase, Tinkerly & Codevidya is organizing iStart Ideathon.
iStart Ideathon is an entrepreneurial event that aims to promote and ignite startup ideas among school and college students. iStart Ideathon is organized in 6 Divisions from 5th Aug
to 16th Sep in Udaipur, Kota, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaipur, and Bharatpur.
Bikaner Event is organized on 26th Aug 2023 | 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM at Hotel Kala Mandir
Palace in collaboration with Studybase, an EdTech startup started from Bikaner already
working with 50+ top schools in Bikaner, 500+ schools in 5 States and 17+ Cities.

Startup Founders, and eminent personalities from Bikaner also graced the event.
Mr. Tapan Kumar, SA Joint Director, DoIT&C presented the “Rajasthan Mission 2030 of
Honorable Chief Minister’s Sh. Ashok Gehlot” and encouraged the audience to engage by
giving more and more suggestions.
Ideathon comprises two tracks: School students (Grade 6+), and College Students (Any
Streams). Students registered in advance, in teams of 1-5 and 1 mentor/teacher (optional).
Participants submitted short presentations (Problem / Opportunity, Solution, Benefit) and a
2-minute video describing their idea. Students submitted innovative ideas on themes like
Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of things (IoT), Blockchain, Deeptech, Enterprise Tech,
Consumer Tech, Cleantech, Mobility, Design, and Crafts & Sustainability.
Ideathon Bikaner received 430+ team registrations from 1200+ students from the Bikaner, Churu, Shri Ganganagar, and Hanumangarh districts. Our panel selected 17 school and 15 college teams for the finale. These finalists were provided with an online mentoring session by Dr. Pavan Soni, Innovation Evangelist and industry expert from Bangalore.
