From India’s Pink City to London : This Startup is making world Plastic Neutral

Thinking become action and action become habits, someone has said it rightly, which fits perfectly on Bhagysharee Jain a native of Rajasthan. Hailing from the Pink City of India, Jaipur, ‘Bhagyashree’s startup The Disposal Company’ (TDC) is revolutionising the landscape of global waste management. Their journey commences with a vision to metamorphose waste into a valuable resource, all while leaving a substantial impact on a global scale.

TDC’s mission goes beyond just mitigating plastic pollution; it aims to transform waste from being a liability into an opportunity. It seeks to empower rag pickers and create employment opportunities for marginalized communities.

Astounded by the massive consumption of plastic and its underutilization, Bhagyashree Jain founded The Disposal Company in Jaipur, Rajasthan, in 2020. Under Bhagyashree Jain’s visionary leadership, TDC has played an instrumental role in helping brands improve their Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) achievement scores. Many companies collaborating with TDC have embraced recycled plastic, implemented recycling programs, and advocated for sustainable policies.

Notably, TDC received an invitation to the Commonwealth Games at KORA last year and has recently been invited by the United Kingdom government to collaborate closely with them in achieving sustainability goals.

TDC’s commitment to sustainability has garnered recognition and support from influential celebrities and prominent brands. Eminent names such as KritiSanon’s Hyphen, Alia Bhatt’s Ed-a-Mamma, Anushka & ViratKohli’s Blue Tribe Foods, Deepika Padukone’s 82.E, and many others have joined forces with TDC to transform their businesses into plastic-neutral powerhouses.

Today, ‘The Disposal Company’ isn’t just making a name for itself in India; it is also gaining global recognition as a pioneering force in waste management and sustainability. TDC currently collaborates with over 60 brands worldwide, spanning from Birmingham to Qatar and across India, empowering organizations to take responsibility for their plastic footprint. Notable brands associated with TDC include mCaffeine, Blue Tribe Foods, 82 E, Ed-a-Mamma, Blue Tokai Coffee, SLAY Coffee, Sublime Life, Vanity Wagon, and Conscious Chemist, among others.

Bhagyashree Jain, the Founder of TDC, sums up their journey with the words, “Our journey is one of innovation and commitment, and we are dedicated to creating a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable future for all.”
