Lav Kush Senior Secondary School emerged victorious at the Usha Satoliya Competition 2024

Usha International, the leading consumer durables brand in India, partnered with the teachers of Gram Panchayat Silai School in Nahargarh District and Unnayan Samiti to organize the “Usha Satoliya Competition 2024”. The event took place in Nahargarh, Baran district, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 100 female contestants.

Chief Guest, Mr Sohan Lal Sahariya, Village Sarpanch of Nahargarh, felicitated the winners, praising their excellent performances. The special guests at the events were Mrs Sita Devi Verma, Panchayat Samiti member, and Ms Geeta from Nahargarh Police station, along with the Program President, Mr Manna Lal Meena, Zeela Parishad member of Baran.Lav Kush Senior Secondary School, Nahargarhwas awarded the first prize, followed Government Upper Primary School, Ghiritapara, and Government Upper Primary school, Balapura,
respectively.

Satoliya, widely known as Pitthu, Lagori, or Seven Stones, is an ancient team game played with a ball and seven stones. Satoliya helps improve hand-eye coordination, concentration, physical dexterity, and teamwork, all of which are valuable lessons the participants learn on the ground.
