Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd., India’s fifth-largest cement group by capacity, launched the first batch of Nuvo Mason Ready-Mix Concrete – a Masonry Skill Development Program as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative to benefit the unorganized masonry sector in Nimbahera, Rajasthan.
Mr. Jeetendra Jain highlighted the importance of this initiative, stating, “The Mason
Training Center and the launch of the first Ready Mix batch are pivotal for the development
of Nimbahera. This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to equip local youth with construction skills, empower the community, and help to improve the quality of their life
further. This reiterates our commitment to our one of our values – CARE and reflects our
dedication to uplifting the communities we serve.”
NUVO Mason is a training program aimed at enhancing masonry skills, empowering workers, and creating new earning opportunities. The first batch of 25 participants will receive extensive training on Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) at the Nuvo Mason Training Center. With the growing demand for RMC in India, driven by urbanization and sustainable
building practices, the program focuses on key aspects like consistency, efficiency, and waste reduction, essential for modern construction. It includes around 300 hours of theoretical and practical training, offering hands-on experience in decorative concrete work.
The curriculum aligns with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF), and participants will be certified by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) upon
completion.
