Jaipurites to Run for a Healthy Heart

To keep the hearts of Jaipurites healthy, CK Birla Hospital and Decathlon are jointly organizing the ’10K Run, Run for Heart’ on September 22. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness about heart health and highlight the importance of fitness. The organizers
shared details of this event in a press conference held on Wednesday.

Anubhav Sukhwani, Vice President and Unit Head, mentioned that this run will be organized in three categories—3 km, 5 km, and 10 km—so that participants from all age groups can participate according to their capacity. The run will begin at CK Birla Hospital, pass through Maharani Farm, Shipra Path, and a private school, and then return via Riddhi Siddhi Circle
to end at CK Birla Hospital.

In addition to health-conscious citizens of the city, various organizations and institutions will also take part in the run. During the event, activities like Zumba dance will be organized for the participants. The top three runners in each category will be awarded prizes. Senior Cardiac Surgeon Dr. Alok Mathur and Senior Interventional Cardiologists Dr. Sanjeeb Roy and Dr. Amit Gupta shared that running is one of the best exercises to maintain a healthy heart. During the run, they will also provide participants with tips on the benefits of running and keeping the heart healthy.

Sachin Singh, GM Sales and Marketing at CK Birla Hospital, said, “Our aim is to promote a healthy lifestyle in Jaipur and raise awareness about heart health. We hope that through this run, we can further encourage Jaipurites to take a greater interest in fitness.”
