Nuvoco Vistas Corp Ltd, India’s fifth-largest cement group in terms of capacity, organised a three-day Artificial Limb Fitment and Mobility Aids Distribution Camp from November 20 to 22, 2024, near the Nimbol Cement Plant premises, Nimbol, Beawar, Rajasthan.
This initiative aimed to address the critical needs of individuals facing physical mobility challenges, including polio patients, and to ensure that recipients can lead more independent and dignified lives. Beneficiaries who visited the camp received custom-fitted
artificial limbs, specialised calipers, wheelchairs, hand-paddled tricycles, crutches, walkers,
hearing aids, and other essential appliances. Individuals seeking assistance registered by submitting a copy of their Aadhaar card and, where available, their disability certificate.
The camp was organised in collaboration with Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti
(BMVSS), popularly known as Jaipur Foot, a renowned NGO dedicated to providing
affordable, high-quality prosthetics and mobility aids.

On the concluding day of the camp, a special Mobility Aids Distribution Programme was
held, marking another significant milestone in Nuvoco’s commitment to community welfare.
The event saw the distribution of tricycles, wheelchairs, and other essential mobility aids to
individuals in need. By the end of the camp, over 100 beneficiaries had been served,
reflecting the meaningful impact of this initiative.
The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of several key dignitaries, including
Mr.Lokesh Bahety, Plant Head, Nimbol Cement Plant, Mr.Dhola Ram Parihar, Sub-Inspector, Jaitaran, Thana In-charge, the Sarpanch of Nimbol & Kanecha Panchayat; Sarpanch representatives of Kharadi & Lototi Panchayata long with Operations Head and officials of Nimbol Cement Plant.
