HR Conclave 2.0 and Conference Held at Faculty of Management, VGU

The Faculty of Management, Vivekananda Global University (VGU), successfully organized HR Conclave 2.0 and a concurrent HR Conference on November 30, 2024. More than 24 renowned HR professionals from leading industries were invited as the speakers of the conclave. The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of 418 HR professionals, alongside esteemed academicians, students and industry leaders, creating a vibrant platform for dialogue and collaboration on contemporary HR trends and innovations.

The program commenced with a Welcome Address by Ms. Malvika Dudi Bagaria, Director,
Faculty of Management, VGU, followed by an inspiring address by Prof. N.D. Mathur, President, VGU, and Dr. K.R. Bagaria, Founder & Vice Chairperson, VGU, who set the tone for the day.

The event was graced by the presence of the Keynote Speaker, Mr. Tejpal Singh Batra,
Founder of SSO Consultants and a multi-faceted leader in HR innovation, and the Chief
Guest, Mr. Harjeet Khanduja, Senior Vice President, HR, Reliance Jio, who shared transformative insights into the evolving HR landscape.

The HR Conference featured five tracks, showcasing 54 paper presentations from researchers and industry experts on diverse aspects of the HR domain.

Highlights of the day included three engaging Panel Discussions:
The Age of Talent Empires, moderated by Mr. Ashish Gakrey, with panelists such as Mr.
Rayapu R Boyapaty (Vice President HR, Novulis), Mr. Nadeem Sarfaraz (Director – HR
Outsourcing and Consulting, BDO), and Mr. Anil Gupta (Founder & Coach, Intervuwalla).
Transforming HR with AI: Revolutionizing Recruitment, Experience, and Decision-Making,
exploring the intersection of HR and artificial intelligence.

Future-Ready Workforce: Embracing Innovation in Upskilling and Lifelong Learning, which
focused on strategies to develop adaptive and innovative HR practices.

The conclave also hosted a Round Table Conference, partner sessions by Xenhire and iStart, and culminated in the much-anticipated HR Awards ceremony, celebrating outstanding contributions in the HR field in more than 15 categories. The receipts of the awards represent organizations namely Genpact, AU Small Finance Bank, Amazon, Wipro, and others.

With enriching discussions, networking opportunities, and thought leadership, HR Conclave
2.0 reaffirmed VGU’s commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry,
fostering a culture of innovation in HR practices.
