AU Foundation, the CSR arm of AU Small Finance Bank (AUSFB), India’s largest small finance Bank, signed an MOU with the Government of Rajasthan during the Rising Rajasthan Summit 2024. Through the MOU, the AU Foundation will be establishing a Center of Excellence for Skills & Sports Development (CESSD) in Jaipur.
The purpose of this state-of-the-art facility is to work on the ideology of serving the underserved and reaching the unreachable segments in rural and semi-urban areas towards generation of employment through Skill Development and promotion of Sports in state of Rajasthan.
The Centre of Excellence (CESSD) will work towards providing skill training and placement to marginalized and under privileged youth and women. Adhered to NCVET guidelines, the centre will serve as a pioneering national model for skill development, professional excellence, and employment with an aim of skilling over 75,000 youth by 2030.
Under this project, the Centre will also work towards uplifting sports culture and creating a world class facility in Rajasthan by training more than 25,000 children and youth from rural and semi-urban locations by March 2030. Also, the sports centre will handhold youth as coaches and create career opportunities.
The Centre of Excellence will generate employment opportunities and develop a distinctive sports culture in the state of Rajasthan.

Through this Centre (CESSD), the Foundation will cater to the substantial upliftment of underprivileged children, youth and women and economically weaker section of society.
