Orchids Central School of Excellence hosted Go-Cosmo, India’s largest astronomy fair at Bhankrota campus. The Astro fair was designed to fuel curiosity and spark discussions about space among students. The first edition of Go Cosmo last year received an enthusiastic response across campuses of 10 cities, attracting around 30,000 students. This three-day immersive fair will take place at the Bhankrota campus from March 29 to 31, 2025 between 4 PM to 8 PM and is set to welcome space enthusiasts of all ages. Go-Cosmo aims to nurture scientific temperament and serve as a hub for exploring several discoveries around space.
Speaking about the astro fair, Dr. Akansha Jain, Principal of Orchids Central School of Excellence, Bhankrota campus, said, “We wanted to inspire students to foster a sense of eagerness to learn about space and what lies far beyond. Seeing Go-Cosmo become a hit the first time around, we decided to bring it back with even more exciting additions. We believe in students experiencing learning first hand, especially when it comes to topics like space, where visuals play such a crucial role. We must tap into their curiosity and provide them with the right tools so they can continue their learning journey and possibly pursue careers in a field as intriguing as space science.”
