Narayana Hospital, Jaipur, to start a regular OPD by the country’s renowned liver transplant surgeon, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Goja, taking an important step in the field of liver transplant.
On this occasion, in a press conference held at Hotel Clarks Amer, Narayana Hospital’s Facility Director Balwinder Singh Walia, Clinical Director Dr. Pradeep Goyal, Dr. Subhash Mishra,Senior Gastrointestinal and HPB consultantand Hepatologist and Liver Transplant Physician Dr. Rahul Rai said that this OPD will prove to be extremely convenient for the patients of Jaipur and Rajasthan. Now, patients will not have to go to Delhi or Mumbai for treatment of serious liver-related diseases.
Narayana Hospital, Jaipur already has an experienced and dedicated team of gastroenterologists, hepatologists and transplant surgeons, and liver transplants are being performed regularly. This new OPD, which will be held on the second Monday of the month from 12 noon to 4 pm, will provide accurate diagnosis, expert consultation and complex surgeries like liver transplant at one place for the patients as per their requirement.
After the press conference, a CME (Continuing Medical Education) session was organized in collaboration with Gut Club Jaipur in the evening, in which gastro and liver specialists participated and had informative discussions.
