EESL and RISL Review Rollout of Energy-Efficient Products Across Rajasthan via e-Mitra

In a continued push toward sustainable energy practices across Rajasthan, Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), a JV of PSUs under the Ministry of Power, in collaboration with Raj COMP Info Services Limited (RISL), an entity under the Department of Information Technology & Communications (DOIT&C), successfully conducted a Review Meeting cum Refresher Training Session at the EESL Regional Office in Jaipur.

The session, chaired by the CEO of EESL, Shri Vishal Kapoor and attended by the Joint Director of RISL, Shri Umesh Chand Joshi, brought together senior officials from both organisations, physical participants from LSPs, and virtual attendees from across the state’s e-Mitra network. The agenda focused on reviewing implementation progress, enhancing field-level engagement, and addressing operational challenges. Shri Adesh Saxena, EESL’s Retail Sales Head, was also present at the session.

Key objectives of the session included raising awareness on the benefits of energy-efficient appliances in the domestic sector, reviewing rollout progress and obtaining on-the-ground feedback from LSPs, conducting open discussions to identify actionable insights for better implementation.

A standout moment of the session was the recognition of M/s Aksh Optifibre, named the
best-performing LSP under the e-Mitra network. It was honored for its commendable efforts, innovative outreach strategies, and consistent performance in promoting energy-
efficient products across communities.

Participants were encouraged to share their field experiences and report on local implementation, which were addressed constructively by subject matter experts from
EESL and RISL. The forum not only strengthened collaboration between state-level institutions and grassroots service providers but also reaffirmed the value of community-
driven energy solutions.

“This joint initiative is a vital step toward democratizing access to energy-efficient technologies and empowering local entrepreneurs through the robust e-Mitra platform,”
said Vishal Kapoor, CEO of EESL. “Recognizing best-performing e-Mitras not only celebrates excellence but also drives healthy competition, innovation, and deeper community engagement across the entire network.”
