I4C officials meet the star cast of JioHotstar’s Special Ops 2.0 to discuss cyber crime

The capital city witnessed a powerful convergence of entertainment and awareness as the cast of Special Ops 2, Kay Kay Menon, Parmeet Sethi and Director Shivam Nair visited Delhi ahead of the show’s highly anticipated release on 18th July exclusively on JioHotstar.

The team visited I4C (Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, where a captivating fireside chat unfolded between actors Kay Kay Menon, Parmeet Sethi and director Shivam Nair, and Shri Rajesh Kumar, I.P.S. – CEO, I4C; Nishant Kumar, Director, I4C and Roopa M, Director, I4C. The conversation explored the fascinating intersection of real and reel cyber threats, with Special Ops 2 not only delivering edge-of-the-seat entertainment but also serving as a stark reminder of the silent battles waged in the digital world every day where the officials quoted the Prime Minister – “Stop. Think and then Take Action.” Most cybercrimes stem from greed, fear, or haste—so pause and verify.

Kay Kay Menon, who returns to play the iconic character of Himmat Singh, said, “Coming back to Delhi always feels like returning to the nerve centre of the country—and this time for Special Ops 2, it’s even more special. Our visit to I4C, MHA was eye-opening, where cyber experts shared real threats our nation faces, adding a whole new gravity to our work as actors. Standing in the war room, watching live data feeds and real-time threat interception, gave me deep respect for the officers safeguarding India’s digital sovereignty. They’re our real soldiers and this is the spirit of unseen heroes that Special Ops celebrates. Delhi always grounds me, inspires me, and pushes me to do justice to Himmat Singh.”
