‘Ab Sab Jayenge School with P&G Shiksha’: The Anthem Powering P&G Shiksha’s Journey to #EraseTheLearningGap

Building on its recently achieved milestone of reaching and positively impacting 1 Crore children across India, P&G Shiksha today launched its anthem ‘Ab Sab Jayenge School with P&G Shiksha’ as part of its continued mission to #EraseTheLearningGap. Created in partnership with JioHotstar, the anthem juxtaposes the emotional reality of learning gaps – those quiet, often unnoticed moments where a child begins to feel left behind, against the joy of learning that transforms into confidence, resilience, and progress.

For many children, a learning gap does not begin with failure—it begins with a moment. A lesson that didn’t fully make sense. A question they were too hesitant to ask. A classroom where everyone else seemed to move ahead just a little faster. Slowly, those moments add up. Curiosity turns into silence, effort turns into self-doubt, and a child who once raised their hand begins to hold back. What makes learning gaps so challenging is how easily they are missed—until they begin to shape how a child sees themselves. P&G Shiksha has been on a mission to create awareness about learning gaps – the gap between the current learning level and the expected learning level of a child. Along with this, many on ground programs continue to pave the way to #EraseTheLearningGap.

As P&G Shiksha celebrates positively impacting more than 1 crore children over 21 years, this milestone represents far more than scale; it reflects 1 Crore individual journeys where learning gaps were identified early and addressed before they could become lasting barriers. It represents children who went from avoiding the blackboard to attempting again, from sitting quietly at the back to raising their hands, from believing “I can’t” to discovering that they can. These are not just improved learning outcomes—they are restored confidence, renewed curiosity, and a second chance at believing in oneself.

The anthem features Indian actors Nakuul Mehta and Shivangi Joshi, tracing a moving emotional arc— recalling childhood moments that reflect the quiet hesitation of a child at the beginning of the song, and moving to a powerful expression of confidence and inclusion by the end. This contrast echoes memories many adults revisit when they think back to their own school days—moments of doubt that stayed with them. ‘Ab Sab Jayenge School with P&G Shiksha’ brings this journey to life, highlighting how timely support can help children move from holding back to stepping forward with belief.

At a time when assessments such as ASER 2024 continue to highlight persistent learning gaps in foundational skills, the urgency of early identification and intervention is clear, further underscored by a third-party survey which reveals that *74% of parents perceive early learning struggles as just a phase. Building on this, P&G Shiksha hosted a commemorative event in Mumbai, bringing together voices from across the ecosystem. Through immersive and experiential sessions, the event spotlighted the importance of early identification and support in addressing learning gaps. The unveiling of ‘Ab Sab Jayenge School with P&G Shiksha’ was followed by a dialogue moderated by  Mansi Zaveri, Ceo and Founder Kidsstoppress, and featuring Nakuul Mehta and Jankee Parekh Mehta – Co-founders, The Indian Parent Pod and Rajat Brar, Senior Director – Brand Operations, P&G India, who shared perspectives on how learning gaps often manifest as hesitation or self-doubt, and the role parents, educators, and communities play in addressing them early.

Shalmali Kholgade – Artist, Musician, and Songwriter also joined the event and sang along parts of the chorus – Ab Sab jayenge school with P&G Shiksha, mile learning ke naye tools… P&G Shiksha, ne de di nayi Disha… The anthem, released in collaboration with JioHotstar as a strategic content partner, extends the conversation beyond the event, inviting audiences across the country to reflect on their own role in helping children overcome learning gaps.

Speaking on the anthem and the larger mission, Nakuul Mehta, Co-Founder – The Indian Parent Pod said, “Learning gaps are not always obvious—they show up in hesitation, distraction, or a child choosing to stay silent. Being a part of ‘Ab Sab Jayenge School with P&G Shiksha’ with P&G Shiksha made this journey especially real for me, as it brought back memories of moments growing up when adapting to new classrooms wasn’t always easy. What stands out in the anthem is the shift from that uncertainty at the start to confidence by the end – enabled by someone who saw their potential. As parents, our role is to notice these early signs and create a space where children feel safe to ask, to fail, and to try again—because the right support at the right time can change how a child learns and how they see themselves. And this is the role P&G Shiksha has been playing over the years, empowering over 1 crore children to #EraseTheLearningGap.”

Jankee Parekh Mehta, Co-Founder – The Indian Parent Pod added, “As parents, we often focus on getting everything right—the right school, the right grades—but in that process, we can miss what our child is truly feeling. Learning gaps don’t always come out in words; they show up in silence, hesitation, or a dip in confidence. What’s concerning is that *74% of parents perceive these early struggles as ‘just a phase’, which means we often overlook the moment when support is needed the most. P&G Shiksha’s recently launched anthem, ‘Ab Sab Jayenge School with P&G Shiksha’, beautifully captures this journey from feeling left behind to feeling included. For me, it’s a reminder that when we choose empathy over pressure and truly listen to our children, we can ensure that a small struggle doesn’t become a lasting label. Congratulations to P&G Shiksha for spotlighting this conversation over years, while empowering over 1 crore children with learning tools.

Rajat Brar, Senior Director, Brand Operations, P&G India, added, “Studies such as ASER continue to highlight a stark reality—millions of children in India are in school, but not all are learning at grade level, making learning gaps one of the most urgent challenges facing our young learners today. The launch of ‘Ab Sab Jayenge School with P&G Shiksha’ builds on our milestone of positively impacting 1 Crore children. But for us, this is not just about scale—it is about meaningful impact, where each child represents a gap identified early and addressed with the right support. Through P&G Shiksha, we are working across both prevention and remediation to ensure children don’t just stay in school but truly learn with understanding and confidence. Our focus is to drive sustained, on-ground change so that no child’s potential is limited by a learning gap, and every child can move forward with belief.

P&G Shiksha started in 2005, even before CSR laws came into effect, as an initiative to build classrooms and has today evolved into a holistic program focused on improving learning outcomes, ensuring children are not just attending school, but learning with understanding. Aligned with the National Education Policy, P&G Shiksha continues to focus on both prevention and remediation of learning gaps, reinforcing its mission to build a nation that learns without labels. It leverages partnerships and scalable models to ensure children can build strong foundational skills and progress with confidence.

With the launch of ‘Ab Sab Jayenge School with P&G Shiksha’, P&G Shiksha continues to drive awareness around learning gaps while enabling on ground interventions that help children learn with understanding and unlock their full potential.
