Electronica India and productronica India 2026 Opens in Greater Noida, Signals India’s ‘Powerplay’ in Electronics

The opening day of electronica India and productronica India 2026 in Greater Noida saw a decisive mix of policy signalling and business intent, as senior government leaders and industry stakeholders converged at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Jitin Prasada, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Electronics and IT and Commerce and Industry, Government of India, said, “Uttar Pradesh is emerging as a key driver in this shift, with strong policy support and growing industrial capacity. With initiatives like PLI and the push towards component manufacturing, we are moving beyond assembly towards owning the value chain. Our goal is clear, to not only make for India, but to make for the world. We are committed to providing a stable policy environment, ease of doing business, and long-term support for investments. We invite global and domestic partners to be part of this growth story, as India positions itself as a reliable and scalable electronics manufacturing destination.”

Shri Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’, Hon’ble Minister for Industrial Development, Export Promotion, NRI, Investment Promotion, Government of Uttar Pradesh, said, “Electronics has become central to both everyday life and industrial growth, and Uttar Pradesh is rapidly emerging as a key hub for this transformation. With strong infrastructure, progressive policies, and rising investments, the state is well-positioned to lead India’s electronics manufacturing expansion.”

Their participation reflected a coordinated push to position the Noida–Greater Noida corridor as a serious manufacturing base supported by infrastructure, policy incentives, and proximity to key markets. In parallel, discussions at the Uttar Pradesh Electronics Leadership Summit focused on infrastructure readiness, investment facilitation, and industrial expansion plans, with participation from senior officials and industry leaders.
