BLS E-Services Partners with PSUs, RRBs and Private Banks in Rajasthan for Large-Scale BC Deployment and Employment Generation

BLS E-Services, a leading digital public service and financial inclusion company, is partnering with public sector undertakings (PSUs), Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) and private banks to strengthen financial inclusion across Rajasthan and generate rural employment through a significant expansion of its banking enablement network in the state.

The company is working with RRB Rajasthan Grameen Bank to deploy Business Correspondents (BCs) across rural and remote regions, including Bhinay, Sarwar, Ramgarh, Kathumar, Sindhari and Ghatol. The collaboration ensures that citizens, particularly those in underserved communities, gain reliable access to essential financial services such as deposits, withdrawals, remittances, micro-credit, insurance and government benefit schemes.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Lokanath Panda, COO, BLS E-Services, said: “BLS E-Services is working in Rajasthan not only to expand financial inclusion in the state, but also to advance women’s empowerment and bring them under the financial security net. Our partnerships with SBI, PSU Banks and RRB Rajasthan Grameen Bank allow us to deepen our presence in rural communities while creating meaningful opportunities for women to participate in the financial system. We see this as a long-term commitment to strengthening rural livelihoods and enabling equitable access to banking services.”

The company is also working with HDFC Bank, the country’s largest private sector bank, to enroll and financially empower women BCs. In line with the Reserve Bank of India’s National Strategy for Financial Inclusion (NSFI) 2025–30, which calls for greater representation of women Business Correspondents, BLS E-Services has partnered with both banks to accelerate women-centric BC deployment. The company operates 2000+ BC CSPs in the state today and, through these agreements, aims to scale to over 5000 CSPs over next 3 years.

Beyond financial inclusion, the company maintains a presence across 41 districts through its e-Mitra network. This extensive footprint enables BLS E-Services to deliver a range of state government services to citizens at the last mile, supporting Rajasthan’s broader vision of inclusive, technology-enabled rural development.

“We are also working closely with community-based organisations and government departments, including the Rajeevika Department, to onboard and train women BCs under initiatives such as BC Sakhi,” Mr. Panda added. “This approach not only strengthens financial access but also creates sustainable livelihood opportunities for women across Rajasthan.”

Going forward, BLS E-Services will continue collaborating with banks, local communities and government partners to make banking simpler and more accessible across Rajasthan. The company’s focus remains on enabling more women to take on roles as Business Correspondents and ensuring that families in rural areas have dependable access to essential financial services.
