Kalam Academy and Samar Jain present Dhood (Sandstorm), a Soul of Desert Production in association with Studio Ainak. The film marks the first Rajasthani film to release across India, and the recent announcement has hooked the audiences about its subject and the world.
Today the makers have unveiled the official teaser of the film that gives the audiences an insight into the world of #Dhood- Rajasthan’s major Pan-India release in decades. Dhood marks a major milestone for Rajasthan cinema, bringing a large-scale story rooted in the soil, culture and soul of Rajasthan to audiences across the country.
Written and directed by Anand Singh Chouhan, Dhood (SandStorm) blends drama, brilliant performances and music while celebrating Rajasthan’s rich cultural identity in a period drama set in the early 90s. Going by the teaser, the film explores the web of greed, power and desperation for continuing the family lineage in a traditional society, packaged as an entertaining thriller.
The film features Yashpal Sharma, Alka Amin and Bhawani Singh Chouhan, along with introducing Vivek Pareek, Praveen Choudhary and Vanikki Tyagi. Music and the soundtrack of the film is composed by Hellaro fame Mehul Surti.
The teaser also took us into the rawness of the film which is seen for the first time in the film which audiences will connect with.
