Jaipur Gets New Retail Landmark as Pacific Mall Opens on October 11

Pacific Mall, Jaipur, a new destination for shopping, dining, entertainment and social experiences, officially to open its doors on October 11, marking a significant addition to the city’s evolving lifestyle landscape.

“I didn’t build Pacific Jaipur because Jaipur needed another mall. I built it because Jaipur needed a place worthy of who its people already are,” said Abhishek Bansal, Managing Director, Pacific Group.

Spread across 11 acres, the development has a total built-up area of 3 million sqft, including 1.8 million sqft of retail space. The destination features 450 shops across seven retail floors, alongside two floors dedicated to a hotel. With 90 per cent of its retail area already leased, Pacific Mall, Jaipur brings together a curated mix of international and leading Indian brands.

Built around the theme “The Spirit of Rajasthan”, Pacific Mall, Jaipur has been conceived as more than a shopping destination. The development combines Rajasthan’s distinctive warmth and sense of place with a contemporary, globally aspirational lifestyle. Its architecture and design draw from the region while its brand mix and experience-led programming look outward to the world.

He added, “Jaipur has always had the culture, the ambition and the people with extraordinary taste. What we wanted to create was a destination that matched that ambition. Pacific Jaipur is our attempt to bring together the world’s best experiences with the warmth and generosity that are uniquely Jaipuri.”

From international fashion names such as Uniqlo, H&M, Marks & Spencer and Mango to homegrown favourites, including Shoppers Stop, Pantaloons, Reliance Trends and Home Centre, Pacific Mall, Jaipur brings an expansive retail mix to its opening day.

The opening-day line-up of 195 brands is anchored by a mix of international names, premium labels, fashion, lifestyle, entertainment and family experiences. Overall, 40 anchors and mini anchors have been planned for the development, of which 35 have been signed. Retail spaces range from 500 sqft to 50,000 sqft of carpet area, allowing the destination to accommodate everything from compact boutiques to large-format stores. Pacific Mall, Jaipur is expected to attract approximately 20 lakh visitors a month, drawing not only from Jaipur but also from surrounding cities and the wider Rajasthan region.

A personal homecoming

For Pacific Group, the opening also represents a long-held belief in Jaipur’s potential as a major lifestyle and consumption centre. Abhishek Bansal, who studied at Mayo College in Ajmer, has known Jaipur since his teenage years and describes the project as a personal homecoming as much as a business decision.

“The first family that walks in and doesn’t know where to look first — that is the moment I am building towards. Not the ribbon cutting, not the speeches. The first ordinary family having an extraordinary day,” Bansal said.

With its scale, global brand mix and Rajasthan-rooted identity, Pacific Mall, Jaipur aims to establish itself not simply as another retail destination but as a contemporary social space for the city: a place where Jaipur can shop, eat, discover, celebrate and spend time together. As Bansal describes it, Pacific Mall, Jaipur is “Jaipur’s living room — the place where the city comes together, discovers what it loves and decides what it wants to become.”
