In a proud moment for Rajasthan, Khet Singh Rajpurohit, a native of the small village of Ghewra in Jodhpur district, has been named in the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2025 list. The recognition comes for his groundbreaking work in the health-tech sector through his innovative startup, ClaimBuddy.
Speaking about the recognition, Khet Singh said, “This achievement is not just mine—it belongs to my village, my Jodhpur, and my country. I’ve always believed that no dream is too big, and even from a small village, one can achieve global impact.”
Born in Ghewra and raised in Ludhiana, Punjab, Khet Singh’s early life was shaped by humble beginnings. His father, Mr. Chen Singh Rajpurohit, moved the family to Ludhiana to start a sweets business, while his mother, Mrs. Suman Devi, managed the household.
A bright student, Khet Singh scored over 95% in his Class 12 exams and went on to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Delhi University. Simultaneously, he began preparing for Chartered Accountancy. His corporate journey started with stints at two of India’s top companies, where he gained hands-on experience in business operations and management.
Fuelled by ambition and vision, Khet Singh later cracked the rigorous entrance to IIM Bangalore, one of India’s most prestigious management institutes. While still studying, he made the bold choice to forgo campus placements and instead co-founded ClaimBuddy with a long-time friend.
Today, ClaimBuddy is operational in more than 10 cities across India, collaborating with over 500 hospitals and has successfully processed health insurance claims exceeding INR 300 crore. The startup has also attracted over INR 60 crore in funding from prominent investors, signaling strong industry confidence.
The Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list celebrates 30 exceptional individuals under the age of 30 from across Asia and Australia. This year, only four Indians made it to the list in the Health & Technology category, making Khet Singh’s inclusion all the more remarkable.
