AI, Robotics, VR & Simulation Set to Redefine Nursing Education at Global Nursing Summit 2026 in Jaipur

Jaipur is set to host the Global Nursing Summit 2026, a two-day international platform bringing together nursing, technology, innovation and global expertise under one roof. The summit will be held on September 5–6, 2026, at the Rajasthan International Centre (RIC), Jaipur.

The event is being organized and presented by RH Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with NTAI–Rajasthan, with a focus on preparing nurses and nursing students for a rapidly evolving, technology-driven healthcare ecosystem.

Addressing a press conference in Jaipur, Dr. Rahul Sharma, Chairperson, Global Nursing Summit 2026; Mr. Purushottam Kumbhaj, Programme Secretary; Mr. Mahesh Sharma, Convener; and Dr. Vishnu Soni, Treasurer, shared details about the summit’s international participation, scientific programme, emerging healthcare technologies and academic activities.

“Indian Nurses Must Not Just Witness Change, They Must Lead It” — Dr. Rahul Sharma Speaking at the press conference, Dr. Rahul Sharma, Chairperson of Global Nursing Summit 2026 and CEO & Director, RH Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., said the summit has been envisioned as more than a conventional conference.

“This is an attempt to create a global platform where nurses, educators, students, researchers, healthcare leaders and international experts can come together to experience and discuss the future of nursing and healthcare,” he said.

Highlighting the growing role of technology, Dr. Sharma said: “AI and Robotics are not replacements for nurses. They are technologies that can strengthen clinical skills, decision-making and patient care. Our vision is that Indian nurses should not merely witness the transformation of healthcare — they should be prepared to lead it.”

He added that the summit also aims to position Rajasthan as an emerging destination for Advanced Nursing Simulation, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Healthcare Innovation, alongside its contribution to nursing education.

Humanoid Robots, Robot Dogs, VR & Holographic Technology

One of the major highlights of the summit will be the live experience of emerging healthcare and educational technologies.

Participants will get exposure to Humanoid Robots, Robot Dogs, Virtual Reality (VR), Holographic Displays, Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Healthcare Simulation.

The demonstrations will showcase how VR and simulation can help create realistic clinical scenarios for nursing education, emergency-response training, skill development and clinical decision-making.

An Opportunity to Meet 26/11 Hero Nurse Anjali Kulthe

A major inspirational highlight of the summit will be the presence of Nurse Anjali Kulthe, widely recognised for her extraordinary courage and service during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

Nurses and nursing students attending the summit will have an opportunity to hear first-hand about her experiences of courage, duty and patient care during one of India’s most challenging emergencies.

Her inspiring journey, also associated with the recently discussed “Bharat Bhagya Vidhata,” is expected to be a special attraction for the nursing fraternity.

Padma Shri Shanti Teresa Lakra to Attend

Padma Shri awardee Shanti Teresa Lakra, renowned for her remarkable contribution to nursing and healthcare, will also grace the Global Nursing Summit.

Giving the summit a truly international dimension, delegates and experts from more than 10 countries are expected to participate.

Mr. Purushottam Kumbhaj, Programme Secretary and State President, NTAI–Rajasthan, said the summit would go beyond technology and focus on the broader challenges and opportunities facing the nursing profession.

Our endeavour is to provide nurses, nursing educators and students with a national and international platform where their talent is recognised, their voices are heard and meaningful discussions take place on issues shaping the profession,” he said.

He added that efforts are being made to connect nursing institutions and professionals from Rajasthan and other states with the global platform.

Mr. Mahesh Sharma, Convener, said extensive preparations are underway to ensure strong academic and scientific participation from nursing institutions, faculty members, researchers and students across India.

The first day, September 5, will feature Paper Presentations, Poster Presentations, Group Discussions and Panel Discussions, providing participants with opportunities to present ideas, research and innovations.

Main Global Conference on September 6

The Main Global Conference will be held on September 6, featuring national and international experts and future-focused sessions on AI in Nursing, Robotics in Healthcare, Virtual Reality, Innovation, Leadership and Simulation-Based Nursing Education.

The summit will also feature an Exhibition, Medical Quiz, Simulation Activities, National-Level Awards and Recognition, and Cultural Activities.

Dr. Vishnu Soni, Treasurer, said the organising committee is working in coordination to ensure smooth arrangements for delegates and participants arriving from India and overseas.
