Mr. Sachin Mutreja, Director, SkyDomesaid, “India’s tourism and live-events sectors present a significant business opportunity for destinations looking to attract more visitors and diversify their offerings. With India’s organised live-events industry projected to grow, SkyDome brings large-format immersive event infrastructure to Jaipur at an opportune time. Here is a space where imagination takes centre stage, where technology opens new possibilities, and where the next generation of extraordinary celebrations can come to life. We aim to build partnerships across hospitality and event production, generate business opportunities for local stakeholders, and strengthen Jaipur’s appeal as a destination for weddings, entertainment, and large-scale events.”
Rajasthan’s growing tourism numbers and Jaipur’s established reputation for heritage tourism and destination weddings create a strong foundation for expanding the city’s events offering. Located in Kukas, next to ITC Mementos, SkyDome combines approximately 30,000 sq. ft. of indoor space and 30,000 sq. ft. of outdoor lawns, giving event organisers options for weddings, live entertainment and large-scale productions. The venue aims to complement Jaipur’s existing hospitality infrastructure and create opportunities across the events and tourism ecosystem.
The opportunity is also reflected in India’s expanding live-events industry. According to the FICCI-EY report Unlocking India’s Media and Entertainment Economy, released in March 2026, the organised live-events segment grew 44% in 2025 to approximately ₹14,500 crore and is projected to reach ₹19,600 crore by 2028.
With its immersive audiovisual capabilities and indoor-outdoor event spaces, SkyDome aims to expand Jaipur’s capacity to host a wider range of events and experiences. The venue creates opportunities for event organisers, wedding professionals, hospitality partners and brands while adding to the city’s offering for visitors seeking celebrations, entertainment and large-scale productions in Rajasthan.
