Established with a vision to be the role model of learning, research, innovation, and sustainability for the knowledge society, the University of the Future, NIIT University (NU), celebrated its 16th Convocation at its Neemrana campus, marking yet another milestone in academic excellence and industry readiness. A total of 275 students graduated at this year’s convocation across BTech, BBA and iMBA
NIIT University has maintained a consistent track record of achieving 100% placements every year since its inception, with the graduating class of 2026 continuing this legacy. More than 73% of BTech students received pre-placement offers, which demonstrates the industry’s confidence in NU’s talent and its industry-linked, technology-based approach to education. This ongoing success reflects the university’s commitment to preparing students for successful careers.
The 12-month Industry Practice (IP) programme also had a successful year, reflecting NU’s continued focus on providing students with practical, industry-relevant learning experiences.
BTech students have been placed at leading organizations such as BigBasket, NASSCOM Foundation, Café Coffee Day, Symphony Fintech, KPMG, Thomson Reuters, EY, Medibuddy, Zebra Technologies and others. The iMBA batch of 2026 also achieved a milestone of 66% pre-placement offers from companies including NIIT Ltd., GNE Infra, CodeYoung, ATZA, Feuji SW Solutions and more.
On this occasion, Mr. Amitabh Kant, Chancellor, NIIT University, said, “Artificial intelligence and other new technologies are changing the way we learn, work and solve problems. Speaking at the event Prof. Prakash Gopalan, President, NIIT University, said, “The 16th convocation of our university demonstrates our commitment to industry relevance and student success. At the convocation, NU conferred an Honorary Doctorate upon Dr. L. Venkata Subramaniam, a distinguished scientist, inventor and specialist in quantum technologies. The event was graced by Mr. Amitabh Chaudhry, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Axis Bank, who attended as the Chief Guest, delivered the Convocation Address and congratulated the graduating students. Besides Mr. Kant, Mr. Chaudhry and Prof. Gopalan, the event was graced by Mr. Rajendra S. Pawar, Founder of NU and Mr. Raju Rajendran, Non-Executive Director, NIIT Ltd.
