“Meetings for risks, analysis, the development and distribution must be pooled in the governments , industry and philanthropy, on condition that benefits are given to all, wherever and wherever they have been produced.”
The joint responsibility is also the coret philosophy of our Alliance of Member Nations that comprises WHO, said Vardhan in a declaration from the Health Ministry. “All these challenges, such as the present pandemic, require shared responses as these are shared threats that need to have a shared responsibility.
Engaging in the reduction and management of disaster risk will require consistent risk identification and communication, retained momentum for investing in persons and sound healthcare, enhanced cooperation across the various sectors, and sound evidence-based planning, he said.
Vardhan also highlighted the “need to undertake an objective and unbiased and thorough review in the steps taken in order to assess the knowledge gained and learned from the WHO-coordinated international health response to Covid 19, at the earliest possible time and in consultation with member states.
The agenda for the meeting centred on steps to ensure that the terms of Resolution WHA 73.1 on the Covid-19 response are thoroughly and efficiently enforced.
