Swiggy launches ‘Delivering Safely’ for delivery partners in Jaipur
Jaipur, March 18: Swiggy, India’s leading on-demand convenience platform, has reaffirmed its commitment to increasing road safety awareness in the state as part of its “Delivering Safely” charter. Inaugurated today in Jaipur by Rohit Kapoor, CEO, Food Marketplace at Swiggy, this initiative underscores a collaborative effort to prioritize road safety across the state.
The session engaged Swiggy’s delivery partners in the city and was conducted in collaboration with senior officials from the police and traffic departments. The partners received vital insights into traffic regulations, proper helmet usage, real-life case studies illustrating the consequences of reckless driving, and guidelines on responsible parking practices.
Swiggy also distributed new helmets among its delivery partners during the event, emphasizing the importance of protective gear and prioritizing the safety of its partners.
Swiggy will conduct training for the ‘Deliver Safely’ charter in collaboration with the Transport Department of Rajasthan to promote awareness and safe driving practices among its delivery partners.
